Chrysanthemums

There are several hundred large flowering Chrysanthemums and Pompons and

as it is impossible to list them all here, we must necessarily classify them as good, better and
best, and list only the best. For commercial growing, with many, however, it is a
matter of choice, and we shall be glad to secure for you any variety not listed below.

positively does not burn or turn black on the edges. It is extremely free, a big flower,

NEW ROSES

RED PREMIER for 1925

Originated by ROBERT SCOTT AND SON. A red sport from Premier which was per-
manently fixed in 1922.

COLOR: Inside of petals bright cardinal-red; outside of petals bright carmine red.
Very brilliant under artificial light.

FRAGRANCE: The flower is very fragrant.

The Rose is similar to Premier except in color. The bud is long and pointed and much better
form than Premier. Dark green foliage and a stronger grower; not quite as many petals as Pre-
mier, which is an advantage. It opens and develops perfectly.

Almost all Red Roses become blue or at least a dull shade as the flower becomes older. On
the contrary, Red Premier becomes brighter as the flower develops and remains so until the petals
actually fall. This feature combined with its fragrance and wonderful keeping and shipping qualities
and freedom of production destines the variety to become our most popular Red Rose for Winter
forcing.

We are sole agents for Robert Scott and Son in the disseminating of this new Rose.
