At  prices  herein  quoted,  we  will  send  all  bulbs  PREPAID  by  express  or 
parcel  post,  to  any  point  in  the  United  States  or  Canada. 

Please  furnish  complete  address. 

We  will  be  glad  to  give  special  quotations  on  large  orders. 

One  to  five  bulbs  will  be  supplied  at  one-tenth  of  dozen  rate;  six  or  more 
at  dozen  rate;  fifty  or  more  at  hundred  rate. 

We  will  not  substitute  without  your  permission.  It  is  often  advisable, 
especially  late  in  the  season,  to  name  one  or  two  other  varieties  as  substitutes 
in  case  we  cannot  fill  your  ordeiw  complete  as  given. 

In  case  of  error  or  dissatisfaction  of  any  kind  please  notify  us  immedi- 
ately so  that  we  can  adjust  the  same. 

Our  Guarantee. — We  guarantee  our  bulbs  to  be  true  to  name  and  will 
gladly  replace  any  that  might  accidentally  prove  otherwise.  We  guarantee 
that  the  bulbs  will  reach  you  in  a first-class,  growing  condition,  but  cannot 
guarantee  any  definite  blooming  results,  as  you  must  readily  appreciate  the 
impracticability  of  so  doing  with  so  much  dependent  upon  soil,  fertilizer, 
weather,  care  and  other  conditions,  over  which  we  have  no  control. 

We  cannot  guarantee  to  fill  your  order  after  November  15th,  as  we  aim 
to  plant  all  our  surplus  stock  after  that  date.

These  are  among  the  most  popular  and  satisfactory  bulbs  grown.  Their

LATE  SINGLE  TULIPS 


Often  called  “Cottage  or  May  Flowering.”  This  extremely  hardy  class  of 
tulips  are  especially  adapted  for  permanent,  hardy  flower  borders,  when  planted 
in  clumps.  For  cutting  they  are  greatly  prized,  due  to  their  long  stems  and 
graceful  habits.  Among  this  type  will  be  found  some  of  the  most  striking 
flowers  of  the  entire  tulip  famiiy.

DARWIN  TULIPS 


We  strongly  recommend  this  class  of  Tulips  for  garden  decoration  in 
beds  as  well  as  in  groups  in  the  herbaceous  border  and  among  shrubs.  Grown 
for  cut-flowers,  they  prove  very  valuable  at  a time  when  our  gardens  yield 
so  little  for  the  decoration  of  our  rooms.  They  grow  from  20  to  36  inches 
in  height,  have  sturdy  stems  and  last  several  days  in  water.  Several  varieties 
force  to  perfection.

BREEDER  OR  ART  TULIPS 

This  wonderful  race  of  Tulips  are  all  too  little  known  here  in  America. 
They  have  flowers  of  enormous  size,  in  the  most  gorgeous  shades  of  yellow, 
gold,  terra  cotta,  maroon,  violet  and  purple.  Of  exceptionally  vigorous  growth. 
These  Tulips  are  especially  fine  either  for  the  border  or  for  cut  flowers.

BOTANICAL  TULIPS  AND  SPECIES

NARCISSI  OR  DAFFODILS 

The  Narcissus  affords  perhaps  more  pleasure  and  satisfaction  than  any 
other  flowering  bulb.  They  may  be  grown  in  garden  beds,  in  herbaceous 
borders,  or  naturalized  in  outlying  portions  of  the  lawn  or  grounds,  as  well  as 
forced  for  indoor  culture.  They  are  very  beautiful,  very  hardy,  bloom  freely, 
are  delicately  fragrant  and  will  thrive  in  almost  any  soil. 

The  bulbs  listed  here  are  grown  in  Oregon,  treated,  and  second  to  none 
in  quality.  As  the  bulbs  are  of  the  extra  large  mother  stock,  do  not  confuse 
them  with  the  smaller  round  bulbs  offered  at  cheaper  prices. 

(Trumpet  Type) 

Trumpet  as  long  or  longer  than  perianth  segments.  Trumpets  yellow, 


lemon  or  sulphured  colored  with  perianths  of  same  shade  or  lighter,  but 

not  white.
