Net  cash  before  shipment. 

25  per  cent  deposit  will  hold  winter  orders  until 
Spring. 

All  prices  include  transportation. 

Please  do  not  send  orders  for  less  than  ?2.00. 

DISCOUNT. 

5 per  cent  cash  discount  on  all  orders  of  $25.00  or 
more  when  full  payment  accompanies  order. 

One  bulb,  size  1,  2 or  3,  for  one-fifth  10  rate,  25 
bulbs  at  hundred  rate,  250  at  1000  rate,  1000  for  nine 
times  hundred  rate.  For  thousand  rate  bulbs  must 
be  one  size  and  variety. 

250  bulblets  at  100 D rate.  Not  less  than  100  sold. 
SHIPMENT. 

Eastern  and  middle  western  orders  will  be  sent  as 
soon  as  danger  of  frost  is  past.  Pacific  Coast  orders 
can  be  sent  at  any  time.  All  shipments  will  be 
made  in  the  Spring  unless  you  instruct  otherwise. 

Safe  delivery  to  your  postoffice  or  express  station 
guaranteed.

true  to  name  and  will  replace  free  or  refund  your 
money  on  any  which  prove  otherwise.

money  plus  any  transportation  charges  you  may  have

BAILEY 


ALBANIA  (Kemp) — A pure,  glistening  white— one 
of  the  very  best. 

ALICE  TIPLADY  (Kunderd) — large  primulinus. 
Glowing  orange.  Excellent  cut  flower  and  very 
popular. 

ALTON  (Kunderd) — ^A  wonderfully  ruflled  variety  of 
purest  soft  orange  with  deeper  throat.  Not  a tall 
variety  but  a very  good  flower  for  landscape  work. 

ANNA  EBERIUS  (Diener) — Brilliant  purple.  Throat 
deeper  shade. 

A.  W.  HUNT  (Christy) — Bright  red  with  small 
white  markings  in  throat.  Large  flowers.  Very 
showy. 

BENGAL  TIGER  (Pratt) — Old  rose  ground  with  bar- 
baric striping  in  deeper  shades.  A i)opular  novelty. 

DIANA  (Zeestraten) — A flne  red.  Rather  similar  to 
Crimson  Glow,  with  less  white  in  throat. 

DIENER^S  AMERICAN  BEAUTY  (Dlener)--Bril- 

liant,  American  Beauty  color.  One  spike,  opening 
a large  number  of  flowers  at  one  time,  forms  an 
immense  bouquet. 

DR.  F.  E.  BENNETT  (Diener) — ^Deep  flame  scarlet. 
Flowers  of  the  very  largest  size  with  many  open 
at  once.  This  variety  stands  out  among  them  all. 
Stands  sun  and  rain  well.  If  it  has  a fault  we  have 
yet  to  And  it. 

DR.  W.  VAN  FLEET  (Kunderd)— A beautiful  shade 
of  delicate  rose  pink,  deeper  at  edges  of  petals. 
Throat  of  cream,  beautifully  blended.  Ruffled. 

DORR  ITT  (Kunderd) — Lavender  pink,  flecked  with 
rose.  Many  open  at  once.  A good  keeper. 

ELF  (Diener) — Lemon  yellow  when  in  bud;  open 
flowers  white;  lip  delicate  lemon.  Strong  and 
vigorous  variety.  Very  popular. 

ELORA  (Burbank) — Creamy  white  flushed  pink  in 
throat,  with  deep  carmine  blotches.  Popular 
florists’  variety. 

FERN  KYLE  (Kunderd) — A large  ruffled  flower  of 
creamy  white  with  faint  red  stripes  in  throat.

GIANT  MYRTLE  (Kunderd)— Large,  delicate  pink. 
Tall  spikes. 

GLENDALE  (Davis) — Tall,  glowing  purple. 


GOLDEN  MEASURE  (Kelway)— The  finest  large- 
flowered  rich  yellow  Gladiolus  achieved.  Very  tall 
and  robust. 

JACK  LONDON  (DIener) — Light  salmon  with  orange 
flame  stripes. 

JENNY  LIND  (Decorah) — lovely  combination  of 
pink,  cream  and  yellow.  Buds  especially  beautiful. 

JEWEL  (C.  Zeestraten) — A primulinus  of  moderate 
size  with  surpassing  delicacy  of  coloring.  Soft 
yellow  and  pink.  It  is  extra  fine. 

L^OISEAU  BLEU  (Hoi land )--Dark  blue  with  purple 
blotch.  Tall  grower. 

LOS  ANGELES  (Houdyshel) — ^Shrimp  pink  with 
orange  carmine  throat.  A wonderful  flower  of  in- 
dividuality and  distinction.  The  famous  **cut  and 
come  again”  Glad. 

LUSTRE  (Kunderd) — ^This  flower  deserves  to  be 
better  known.  Lustrous  red,  medium  sized  flow- 
ers; many  open  at  once.  A fine  keeper. 

MARIE  KUNDERD  (Kunderd)— White  with  an  al- 
most invisible  soft  pink  marking  in  lower  petals. 
Very  dainty. 

MARSHAL  FOCH  (Kunderd) — Soft  salmon  pink 
almost  a self.  Very  large  and  sturdy.  Popular  as 
cut  flower. 

MONA  LISA  (Kunderd) — Pale  lavender  pink.  Del- 
icate and  beautiful. 

MR.  W.  H.  PHIPPS  (Diener) — LaFrance  pink  over- 
laid wth  light  rose  salmon,  lighter  toward  the 
center.  Lower  petals  very  lightly  striped  and 
speckled  with  ruby.  Immense  flowers;  many  open 
at  one  time.  One  of  the  most  wonderful  show 
Glads  in  existence. 

MRS.  DR.  NORTON  (Kunderd) — Finest  cream  and 
pink.  A real  confection.

MRS.  F.  C.  PETERS  (Fischer) — A splendid  rose 
lavender  with  soft  crimson  blotch  bordered  white 
on  lower  petals.  Slightly  ruffled.  Plant  tall  and 
vigorous. 

MRS.  H.  E.  BOTH  IN  (Diener) — Light  geranium  pink 
heavily  ruflded,  with  flame  scarlet  center.  One 
of  the  loveliest  combinations  in  Gladiolus. 

MRS.  LEON  DOUGLAS  (Diener) — Ground  color  be- 
gonia rose,  striped  with  flame  and  brilliant  scarlet. 
A very  strong,  extra  tall  vigorous  variety.  Ex- 
tremely popular.  Order  early — never  enough  to 
fill  demand. 

MURIEL  (Pfitzer) — Semi-prim.  Light  lavender  with 
deeper  blotch.  Many  open  at  once.  Good  keeper. 

OPALESCENT  (Bill) — A wonderful  satiny  Gladiolus 
of  very  delicate  lavender  rose  tints.  Odd,  charm- 
ing shape.  As  beautiful  as  the  name. 

PEACH  ROSE  (Kunderd)' — Bright  pink  with  deeper 
blotch. 

PINK  WONDER  (Kemp) — Immense  pale  pink  with 
silvery  sheen. 

PURPLE  GLORY  (Kunderd)— A rich  ruffled  flow- 
er of  deepest  velvety  maroon  red  with  almost 
black  blotches. 

RICHARD  DIENER  (Diener) — Rich  salmon  rose; 
delicate  yet  glowing;  large  flowers,  many  open  at 
one  time.  One  of  the  most  beautiful  Gladiolus 
known. 

ROSE  ASH  (Diener) — ^A  combination  of  soft  rose 
and  blue  grey — ashes  of  roses.  Very  odd  and  dis- 
tinctive. 

ROSEMARY  (Dr.  Bales) — ^A  very  unusual  Prim. 
White,  marked  with  fine  hair  lines  of  lavender, 
which  become  pink  under  artificial  light.  Mark- 
ings carried  clear  through  petals.  Spikes  straight 
and  graceful.  A variety  which  is  liked  better 
every  time  it  is  seen. 

SCARLET  GLORY  (Kunderd) — ^Deep  scarlet.  Sturdy 
and  vigorous.

SWEET  LAVENDER  (Coleman)— One  of  the  ear- 
liest. Light  lavender  pink  blending  into  creamy  j 
yellow  with  prominent  magenta  red  blotch. 

UHLAN  CHIEF  (Kunderd) — Very  brilliant.  Flame 
red  with  darker  velvety  red  throat.  One  of  the  ] 
earliest  reds. 

VANITY  (Bill) — tall  graceful  pink,  very  dainty 
and  delicately  colored.  Fine  for  baskets. 

VESUVIUS  GLOW— A new  Glad.  Odd  and  smoky 
with  white  throat.  Appropriately  named,  as  there 
is  a distinct  glow  to  the  flowers,  especially  when 
still  in  bud. 

VIOLET  GLORY  (Kunderd)— Deep  velvety  violet 
with  reddish  tint.  Very  rich.  1 

W ETON  A (Kunderd) — Very  dark  red  with  satiny 
sheen.  ] 

WHITE  GLORY  (Kunderd) — White  with  thick  waxy 
petals,  heavily  ruffled.  Soft  blue  marking  in 
throat. 

YOU  ELL’S  FAVORITE  (Kunderd)— Rosy  lavender 
pink  with  deeper  pink  fleckings.  Tall  and  vig-
