All gladiolus lovers will be interested in this collection whether you have purchased
other bulbs this year or not. Why? Because this collection is vastly different from
our other offers. At least 75% of the varieties used have not been included in any
previous collection made this year. Only varieties of the highest type and quality
and the exceedingly popular ones go to make up the MARY JANE COLLECTION.

Mary lane Introduced at $100.00 per Bulb
We now wish to share the beauty of this gladiolus
with our customers and let them enjoy this mag¬
nificent gladiolus as we do. When this variety
first bloomed as a seedling in our gardens. Mr. A
E. Kunderd, the originator, immediately recog¬
nized it as an outstanding gladiolus and one which
would have a good future. The first time it was
exhibited as a seedling it received a silver medal.
Mr. Kunderd thought so much of it he decided
to name it in honor of his mother, and originally
introduced the variety at $100.00 a bulb.
"Mary Jane" has won ever so many prize awards
and truly is an exceptional gladiolus. It is a most
beautiful silvery pink with a light lavender sheen.
The throat is delicate and clear. There are
many large perfectly placed florets open at a
time.
By all means you should have it in your collection.
Order this collection today and the MARY JANE

PLANT EARLY AND LATE. To enjoy your gladioli to the fullest extent you should arrange the

For regal beauty — something to remind us of the
richness and splendor of the East — there is nothing
to equal the Oriental Poppies. Bold masses of these
majestic flowers with their large flower cups of
bright colors produce a gorgeous picture. They
come into bloom with the earliest peonies. They
grow 2'/2 to 4 feet high and do well in any open,
sunshiny position in good, deep, loamy soil.

Every garden must have Iris. The popularity of this flower is easy to understand. They are so beautiful, coming in
varied forms and in a wide range of color combinations from white and pale lavender to deep purple, bronze and
maroon. Then, too, they are inexpensive. Most of them will bloom next year and by the following spring they will
have increased so they will make a gorgeous showing.
WHAT YOU RECEIVE. The 10 Iris we offer in this collection are among the finest grown. All will be different
varieties and each one will be properly labeled for identification. The varieties will be selected so the colors will
harmonize nicely. IN EACH COLLECTION ^ _
we shall include one root of that Famous Red
Variety, IMPERATOR. Standards are red-
violet tinted buff, with deeper colored falls
which have brown markings at the base.

Mons. Jules Elie
8 Peonies in all
Peonies perhaps are the most striking flowers which can be used upon the landscape.
They command instant attention of all lovers of the beautiful. They can be grown
successfully everywhere, with the exception of the extreme southern part of the U. S.
The 8 Peonies we offer in this collection, including that marvelous large silvery pink
peony with wide guards surrounding a large bunch of comparatively narrow incurved
petals, something like a monster chrysanthemum, Mons. Jules Elie, are most outstanding.
This is without question the best Peony offer of the season. . . . Shipments will be made
in September.
