Mary lane Introduced at $100.00 per Bulb

We now wish to share the beauty of this gladiolus
with our customers and let them enjoy this mag¬
nificent gladiolus as we do. When this variety
first bloomed as a seedling in our gardens. Mr. A
E. Kunderd, the originator, immediately recog¬
nized it as an outstanding gladiolus and one which
would have a good future. The first time it was
exhibited as a seedling it received a silver medal.
Mr. Kunderd thought so much of it he decided
to name it in honor of his mother, and originally
introduced the variety at $100.00 a bulb.

"Mary Jane" has won ever so many prize awards
and truly is an exceptional gladiolus. It is a most
beautiful silvery pink with a light lavender sheen.
The throat is delicate and clear. There are
many large perfectly placed florets open at a
time.

By all means you should have it in your collection.
Order this collection today and the MARY JANE
wi II be inclu ded FREE.

PLANT EARLY AND LATE. To enjoy your gladioli to the fullest extent you should arrange the
planting at intervals from early in the season until quite late — as late as July I Oth if you do not
generally have killing frosts until the middle or latter part of October.

For regal beauty — something to remind us of the
richness and splendor of the East — there is nothing
to equal the Oriental Poppies. Bold masses of these
majestic flowers with their large flower cups of
bright colors produce a gorgeous picture. They
come into bloom with the earliest peonies. They
grow 2'/2 to 4 feet high and do well in any open,
sunshiny position in good, deep, loamy soil.
