Due to the extremely dry season of 1936
some lines of nursery stock are very scarce this
year. We have a fair supply in many things,
but may not be able in all cases to supply
every item and variety you might select. In
ordering can you name second choice or al¬
low us to substitute similar varieties in case
some of those you desire are not obtainable?
PEACH TREES — budded 1-year tops on 2-yr.
roots; under 3 ft. 15c; per 100 $12.50. 3 to 4 ft.
20c; per 100 $15.00. 4 to 6 ft. 25c; per 100 $22.50.
APPLE TREES — grafted or budded, 2-yr. olds,
4-5 ft. 25c; per 100, $22.50. 5-6 ft. 35c; per 100
$30.00. Whips and lightly branched. A few heavy
branched 2-yr. trees at 50c.
PLUM TREES — Budded, 1-yr. tops on 2-yr.
roots. 3 to 4 ft. 30c; par 100 $25.00. 4 to 5 ft.
50c; per 100 $40.00. 5 ft. up, heavy, 60c. Special
rates on Sapa and Opata only — 3 to 4 ft. 20c,
4 to 5 ft. 30c in lots of 25 and up each kind and
grade. Not in recent years have we offered higher
quality or better assortment in plums.

heavy clumps, $1.50. In bloom May to November.
PERENNIALS — A few kinds, clumps, 25c and
50c; divided sets, 75c per doz.
CHERRY AND PEAR TREES— Best 1-yr. and
2-yr. stock 75c, per 100 $60.00; medium size 50c;
per 100 $40.00.
PECAN AND WALNUT TREES— 2 to 3 ft. 75c;
$65.00 per 100; 3 to 4 ft. $1.00; $85.00 per 100. Larger
sizes $1.25 to $1.50.
GRAPES — Heavy 2-yr. vines, many of which
fruited in the nursery last summer, 10c each,
$1.00 per dozen. Not less than 6 of a kind at
dozen rate. $6.50 per 100. Not less than 25 of
a kind at hundred rates. Second size vines,
when we have them, half price. We do not offer
the little 1-yr. plants sold by some.
TULIP BULBS — Home-grown Darwins, 50c per
doz.
SPRING BULBS — Cannas and Tube Roses, 50c
per dozen; $3.50 per 100. Gladiolus half as much.
Dahlias May 1 with eyes started, choice kinds
$2.50 per doz. Common kinds $1.00 per doz.
EVERGREENS — We do not print a complete
price list of Evergreens. We offer several of the
common kinds at 25c, 50c, and $1.00 each in sizes
running 6 inches to 2 feet. Rare and grafted
varieties more. Larger sizes 50c to $1.00 per
foot of height. Come and see them or ask us
about whatever you need. If possible, we prefer
to sell you Evergreens as suggested in catalog.
