Special Collection of Assorted Glads
Many folks desire a few “glads” to plant in the garden and do not care to
fuss with the names of the varieties. For this purpose I am offering a special
collection of named varieties not labelled. If you have a preference for certain
colors, just mention it, and I will act accordingly.

FOREWORD
In presenting this new 1942 list, I wish again to stress the fact
that it contains the most dependable of the older standard varieties
as well as the best of the newer ones. During recent years it has
become increasingly evident that there is a growing demand for the
graceful and beautiful smaller flowered gladiolus which lend them-
selves exceptionally well to vase and table decorations in an infinite
number and variety of arrangements possible only with the small
decoratives. In anticipation of this demand I have this year quite
a superlative collection of these small decoratives of both American
varieties and Imported English Hybrids. Again, I take this oppor-
tunity of extending a cordial invitation to you to visit my fields dur-
ing the blooming season.
TERMS: Cash with order or a 25% deposit if future delivery
is desired. I do not substitute but refund any part of order I can-
not fill.
NO SINGLE ITEM FOR LESS THAN TEN CENTS.
SHIPMENT: I ship any time. No orders for bulblets taken
after April 1st, small sizes May 1st. On large orders, special quota-
tions for the entire lot.
