The seeds we have handled in the past, we believe to

have been such as to have favorably placed us before those

who have entrusted us with their orders, and so long .as
we can do this, we are reasonably assured that we shall

receive our share of your valued trade.

It is ever our ambition to be known to the Trade as

among the most reiable Seedsmen of the Country, and

we shall be ever vigilant that we may, by our fellow-
Seedsmen, be so esteemed.

Our Extra Early Challenge was obtained by selections from
Extra Early Philadelphia, and we can in all confidence say that
after a trial of nearly all of the Extra Early varieties offered in
the trade, we have not found one possessing more merit than
this—hence its naime.

McBeth’s Pride.— A selection from Kentish Invicta, as an

ago, by fertilizing the Red Mediterranean with

the pollen of the Deihl. |

It has proved to be extremely hardy, and very

prolific, and has been pronounced by experts to

be superior for flour.

It has the beard and blue straw of the Red

Mediterranean, and the remarkably compact head, |

stiff straw, and plump. berry of the Deihl. It |

stools so as to stand at least one-third thicker on
