OLD  Mother  Hubbard 
Went  to  the  cupboard, 

To  give  the  poor  Dog  a  bone, 
But  when  she  came  there, 
'The  cupboard  was  bare, 

And  so  the  poor  dog  got 


MOTHER  HUBBARD. 


She  went  to  the  Baker's 

To  buy  him  some  bre^d ; 
And  when  she  came  back

To  get  him  a  coffin ;

She  went  to  the  Fruiterer's 

To  buy  him  some  fruit 
And  when  she  came  back 

He  was  playing  the  flu**.

To  buy  him  some  tripe 

And  when  she  came  back 
He  was  smoking  his  pipe

To  buy  him  a  coat ;

He  was  riding  a  goat

She  went  to  the  Hatter's 
To  buy  him  a  hat ; 

When  she  came  back, 
lie  was  feeding  the  cat 


MOTHER  HUBBARD. 


The  Dame  made  a  fine  curtsy, 
The  Dog  made  a  low  bow ; 

Fhe  Dame  said.  Your  servant  si* 
The  Dog  said,  Bow-wew
