McLoughlin and Old Oregon is a classic from the point of view of a woman. The author created this historical fiction, yet has an index at the back of the book. The reader is taken back in time to the days of Jason Lee and Fort Vancouver with all the characters that created this Oregon Country history. Well-researched because the facts and personalities are woven carefully into the story. So nice to have this classic online.
