DECEPTION:

The Subscribers caution the public against a spurious catalogue, pretend-
ing to emanate from this establishment, issued by a person named Garret-
son, (formerly a clerk in their employ) who has no Nursery whatever, and
who has no authority to use their names or the name of this establishment;
and they disclaim all connection with him of any kind whatsoever, and any

such use of our names is a fraud upon us and a deception on the public.

LINNZAN BOTANIC GARDEN AND NURSERIES, *
FLUSHING, NEAR NEW YORK. |

All orders are to be addressed to Wm. R. Prince & Co., and no other persvi
whatever in this town is authorised toreceive any orders for this Establish-
ment

N.B. The seeds are of the finest quality, and such as will recommeng!
themselves. ‘ hey possess the advantage of being rais’d under our own ob-
servation. cr when imported from confidential correspondents who gros
them expressly for us, of being tested to our satisfaction, and their ae. uracy
and vilarty re therefore expressly guaranteed. The imported seeds are
mostly obtained from :he south of Europe, where they become so well ma.
tured, that they preserve their vitality far better than F nglish seeds, the jat-
ter being grown in so humida climate. The Catalogue will be found te
contain many new and very choice varieties never bcfore offered to tie
publi, and incomparabty superier to many of the o!d varieties; and it is jx-
tended to enrich this branch of the business with the same zeal which hes
been extended to the other departments. A Supplementary Ca alogne $s
annexed, enumerating above 600 varieties of Annual, Biennia:, and Perei-
nial Flower Seeds, very many of which are of extreme rarity ; and ti2;
being mostly collected from Plants in this establishment, their excelleace
may he relied on. The principal object in view is te furnish venders of
Seeds with wholesale qualities at reasonable rates. but to accommodate sur
correspondents we cannot object to furnish smaller parcels for family gav-
dens when applied for. Specimen beds are sown of every variety, for the
inspection of visiters

3-> The prices are fixed at the Jowest Cash rates, but where a dralt at
90 davs or 4 months is sent with the order or the payment is satisfactosily
arranged otherwise, a credit rnutually convenient will be allowed, A
orders for Seeds shou'd be sent direct by Mail.
