(ZaPenguin's comments: Last show of the tour - by now the band has really polished out every last kink. LOTS of guitar in the mix here - almost sounds like the recording itself is distorted in places, but no, that's just Kawabata's sound! I think the highlight here has to be Cometary Orbital Drive - usually "always the bridesmaid, never the bride" describes this long-running workhorse, but tonight it comes dangerously close to outshining Pink Lady, with Kawabata locking into a three-note riff (a lovely little noodling that sounds just as hypnotic as the infamous six-impulse, three-note, 121213 Cometary monster itself) which serves as the launching point for what may be a cover song, or may just be a particularly inspired improvisation - I'm in no position to determine which. Great La Novia too, and Pink Lady has a "Flying Teapot" jam - how can you go wrong?)
