while the below corrected set list is technically correct, what it does not note is that the 'Ocean Beach' in the first set is the exact same 'Ocean Beach' as in the second set, where it belongs; somehow during the file process and/or upload here to archive, 'Quiet Surf' got left out and 'Ocean Beach' got uploaded twice; if anyone who has the correct file set sees this note, please fix the file issue
also, there is no 'Intro' track prior to 'Walking The Peach', it's more just tuning/banter following 'Joni Mitchell's House' and could be joined with that track

Although I am an east coast boy, I know excellent guitar work when I hear it! ...Grew up listening to early WSP, Dead, and lots of Bluegrass here in the NC region. I love this "early", 1997 show both for its excellent sound quality and its incredible performance. All the cylinders in the engine are firing and the timing is right. They have their hearts into what they are doing, and I love that! That is something almost immeasurably rare in today's world of corporate, formula- driven radio music. Sort of like the tee shirt I saw once with beautiful large GOLDEN ARCHES on the front, and then when the fellow passed by and went on his way... it said "McSh*t" on the back.
This is the real deal... No McSh*t.

Every Mermen show I've heard on this board sounds great. Something about those mikes on stage that produces an excellent sound. Also, kinda odd to hear the boys talking as if in a far background.
For this show, the sound is awesome, the separation is there and you can "feel" the sound. Listen to it, you'll see what I mean
