Subject: terrific show, great recording
I was fortunate enough to make this show and it was terrific. The Mermen are in top form and boy does it show.

I really like the recoding qualities and take no issue with it (thanks MZ). I find some SDB's to be a bit flat for my ear, but this sounds great. I really appreciate that the intro to the absolutely epic "Within You Without You..." was kept intact to the rest of the piece, etc., etc.

Subject: Love it...but...
Love the Mermen and thx to Mike Z. for uploading. Now, I hate to be nitpicky, but this just doesn't seem to have the clarity of a SBD. i.e. Jim's guitar very low at times (Ocean Beach) Allen's bass low at times (100ft. Lemon). The drums are crystal, but kind of drown the guitars throughout.
Again, I don't want to sound unappreciative... this is just what my ears are telling my brain.
(brain is currently 'under review' by the referees)
