Hello,
I am new here - and sorry for my bad english.

1. I do not undestand some things about google pdf´s. Why are these pdf´s not accessible in books.google.com?

2. I search the book Der Monismus: Dargestellt in Beiträgen seiner Vertreter (1908). It is accessible here (http://www.archive.org/details/dermonismusdarg00drewgoog), but only volume 2, i need volume 1. Is ist possible to contact user tpb, perhaps he can also upload volume 1?

I believe it can be found here. If you can't find something on Google, check hathitrust.org -- it's where many Google scans are supposedly archived, the academic side of Google Books.

Thanks for the tip but unfortunately this title is not listed there. The Author is Arthur Drews. Where does come from the scan on IA then? Also I get the message at the most titles: "Full view is not available for this item. due to copyright © restrictions." For example: Bruno Wille, Das lebendige All (http://www.archive.org/details/daslebendigeall00willgoog) but not (http://babel.hathitrust.org/cgi/pt?id=mdp.39015059867369)

I don't see "copyright restriction", I can view those books in full. It is probably because you are outside the United States. If you need a book or two let me know I will get you a copy, post your email address. Or use a web proxy to get around the restriction might also work.

OK, now I understand better, the books are not available outside the United States. I'll try that with the proxy. If that doesn't work, I would be very grateful for your offer

With the web proxy I now get access to the sites. Unfortunately I get not the correct links for the pdfs. Perhaps I can still solve the problem. Ist it possible to get full-pdfs from hathitrust?

I don't think Hathai allows download of the full book, just per page view/download. They have sometimes been helpful when contacted, you could try contacting them.

They must block the web proxy. Perhaps try another, of if you know someone with a Unix shell in the US it would be possible to use a command line like "lynx" or "wget" to download.

Fantastic - it works! Why have I not known earlier that?

"user tpb" is just an automatic script that copies books from Google to Internet Archive to preserve them. The original came from here it looks like. There are some other related books that might be of interest but I don't see the one you want, unless it has a different title or wrong metadata.
