Forum: forums Subject: New video/audio player: insufficient tracks

On any LibriVox item page on the Internet Archive, the new audio player only shows the first 21 tracks, however many files there are in the item. Example: http://www.archive.org/details/wuthering_heights_rg_librivox The book has 34 chapters, but only the first 21 display in the new audio player. The old player shows them all. http://www.archive.org/details/20000_leagues_under_the_seas_librivox 47 chapters, only 21 available in new player. We need it to display all the tracks, please. We found out some time ago that the maximum number of tracks allowed by IA in an item is 255, and we do have some projects that have that many. e.g. http://www.archive.org/details/lincoln_story_book_0902_librivox Sorry, that was not intended to sound so brusque. Thank you in advance for your help. We do appreciate it.

Can you see them? I can't. It doesn't scroll any more - stops at 21. Did my image file upload?

Well, I am baffled then. I can see all 34 tracks on the OLD player.

But on the NEW player on Firefox 6 & 7, Opera 11.51 and Internet Explorer 7, I can only see 21 tracks on any Librivox item.

I will ask even more people to check too. One person has already confirmed that they see the same as I do on Firefox 7.

Could you at least point Tracey Pooh at this thread then, Jeff? I'd be interested to know what browser/OS you have. You seem to be the only person so far who can see all the tracks. The last poster here is on Ubuntu/Firefox. Most of the other people I have asked have been on various flavours of Windows including XP and 7, with Firefox and latest Flash plug-in. ;) Ruth EDIT: Ah, disregard this. Your new post has just popped up. Thanks! :)

Yes: • Jeff, Tracey, et al -- this New Problem with the embedded Kaltura Player's playlist just began occurring early this past week, about 5 days ago. I'm running Win XP. My browsers are Firefox, Opera, and IE. All s/w is running current / latest revisions. All three browsers have this trouble. When I switch back to the Flash Player, the playlist is fine.
