The 1602 Reina Valera version (original text) - You may be surprised to find out that the words of the modern versions of the Reina Valera have been changed. There seems to be much more to this than natural linguistic drift, or the standard changes that occur as language evolves. The question, when those changes are studied, is whether or not this was accomplished on purpose or not. There are some books and information about some intentional changes that were made to some of the modern versions in English, such as described in the work of [ Burgon] . ; [ More ] . ; [ Haldane] . ;.
or other accurate critics dealing with the original greek text such as Hoskier or Scrivener. But the choice of what spirituality a person decides upon is up to them. This includes the words chosen in the versions of the Holy Scriptures that they chose. Obviously, the results of that choice will be evident also. Many modern versions of Holy Scriptures have been found ambiguous and confusing. In anycase, now you can do the comparisons and the studies of words for yourself.

Nestle's version, and its effect on the reader ?
There is plenty of material available here on dealing with the Jehovah’s Witness perspective. The challenge however, is when the J.W.s simply pull out THEIR interlinear which – after all – simply uses the Nestle-Aland Greek Text, and then they read it as they do. [just do a search online on the 17 missing verses of the NIV, and how the NIV “coincidentally” matches up with the alterations in the J.W. version (the New World Translation). The Older Versions of the Jehovah Witness edition used Codex Sinaiticus, which explains a lot about how they went so far afield (among other things) ].
The problem would be solved if the Evangelicals would simply stick to their genuine historic New Testament in Koine Greek. Nestle was a student and co-worker with Tischendorf. Tischendorf was an opponent of the Reformation, Historic Christianity, and the Bible. ( Ever found any reference where Tischendorf ever claimed to know Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior ? Good luck ! )
Tischendorf is the one who claimed discovery for the rejected manuscript now called Codex Sinaiticus.
All praise to Tischendorf ??? All praise to Nestle ?
How does that verse go ?
Nestle is my shepherd, I shall not want. … (was that “too much” of a paraphrase ? it seemed like the dynamic equivalence of the attitude of too many Seminary Professors, and their errant Shepherds, found in abundance in the 27th book of the N.T.)
Nestle’s version cannot be questioned as he has found Vatican infallibility. Touch not the Lord’s anointed. Only…whose Lord ? Who appeareth as an Angel of Light ?
To an academic world seeking to reject the historic Bible, Tischendorf’s “discovery” put him at the top of the Academic ladder in the German universities which had been leading the assault on Christianity and the Old and New Testaments.
How many verse would YOU freely change, alter, erase, modify, insert or leave out ???
Upon finding Codex Sinaiticus, Tichendorf made more than Three Thousand Five Hundred - 3500 - changes to content of the Bible, his own collation of the Greek New Testament . Nestle used Both the work of Westcott and Hort, AND the work of Tischendorf [Codex Sinaiticus] in what is now the Nestle-Aland. This should be a surprise to no One. Nestle SAYS that he used the collations of Tischendorf, and Westcott and Hort, on PAGE ONE of this New Testament.
Others previously had suggested many problems with Vaticanus based manuscripts, such as:
The English Revisers' [Wescott - Hort] Greek Text: Shown to be Unauthorized, Except by [errant] Egyptian Copies Discarded
http://www.archive.org/details/TheEnglishReviserswescott-HortGreekTextShownToBeUnauthorized
This Nestle Edition is also the 1904 edition, which was the First one that the Bible Societies decided to use as a SUBSTITUTE for the historic Textus Receptus, that had kept Christians spiritually strong and equipped.
But we should not skip over the implication of Nestle’s work :
the Text of Nestle [Nestle-Aland] is a collation, an INVENTION of Nestle, that did not exist before he invented and published it. And it is different from the Historic ancient manuscripts of the Church in THOUSANDS of places.
So congratulations. Those who are using the work of Nestle are basing their relationship with God, [according to them] on a Greek Text that did not exist before the work of Westcott and Hort, except in the rejected Codex Vaticanus, which is known to have been changed and modified by at least TEN different copyists, in that very manuscript.
[oldest most complete Greek manuscript it was said, but NOT by ONE author, with much omitted and many books of the Apocrypha included] .
The Work of the BFBS concerning its dealings with the Apocrypha was previously addressed in Statement of the Bible Society concerning the Apocrypha, at
http://www.archive.org/details/StatementOfTheBibleSocietyConcerningTheApocrypha
Westcott and Hort used Codex Vaticanus as the basis for their translation, and Tischendorf used Codex Sinaiticus [and Nestle used BOTH]. But the further problem is that Codex Sinaiticus and Vaticanus contradict EACH OTHER, also in thousands of places. So Nestle just made up his own version, when he wanted to.
The Historic Greek Text [Textus Receptus] can be found in the copy (for example) of Scrivener [1860] at
http://www.archive.org/details/TextusReceptusscrivener1860

That statement - about the contradictions between Sinaiticus and Vaticanus needs documentation. It cannot simply be a statement without support. The data about the contradictions between Sinaiticus and Vaticanus
[which are in almost every line of both manuscripts ] can be found in the 2 Volume work by Professor Hoskier [U of Mich], in his “Codex B and its Allies”, which is also available online.

Those seeking a 1602 Spanish version that is accurate may find it here.
http://www.archive.org/details/ReinaValera-1602
The original Spanish Reina Valera also very very different from the popularized [falsely titled] modern Reina Valera of 1960, which bears very little resemblance in content with the historic 1602 version.
Those familiar with the work of Burgon [Oxford] refuting the poor work of Westcott and Hort will find that in his more advanced work the Revision Revised, which is available at
http://www.archive.org/details/a549037300burguoft
Those not familiar with Burgon may wish to start with his more introductory
The traditional text of the Holy Gospels vindicated and established, at:
http://www.archive.org/details/traditionaltexto00burgrich
There is plenty more material dealing with these questions. But this should at least provide some information to those seeking to go a bit further. Don’t expect your seminary professors to back your inquiry. They obtained their job on the basis of their adherence to the Nestle-Aland. To do otherwise would endanger reputation, funding, scholarship, endowments, and publishing contracts. The world and the conditions that the past translators labored under, without glory, funds, or tenure, is very far removed from the comfortable ivory tower of those who will lead many to fall theologically asleep.
